Responsible Textile Recovery Act Could Transform Fashion Industry in California

The California Senate has passed the Responsible Textile Recovery Act (Senate Bill 707), which will, if passed, extend responsibility to producers for recovering materials from their products. This means that clothing producers would be required to adopt recycling and reuse programs by 2028.
