New Senate Bill Would Ban Added PFAS to Products Entering New Hampshire

New Hampshire’s Senate has succeeded in approving House Bill 1649, which, over the next three years, will limit added PFAS to products entering the state. The bipartisan bill is intended to ease the burden on manufacturers while also protecting public health and responding to the financial challenges of PFAS contamination. As Senator David Watters put it, “This is a reasonable, but deeply important, bipartisan bill that will protect the future health of Granite Staters, and we are pleased to see it pass the Senate today.”
